For the eighth time, the Polish Naval Academy and the Warsaw Exhibition Board (ZTW S.A.) are pleased to invite you to take part in the National Maritime Security Forum FBM 2023 – one of Poland’s oldest academic conferences dedicated to the challenges brought by the country’s maritime security in a broad sense.                  

National Maritime Security Forum FBM 2023 is organized under Honorary Patronage:

• Ministry of National Defence

• National Security Breau

• Ministry of Infrastructure

• Sejm Committee of National Defense

The war in Ukraine is clearly showing the role and importance not only of the Baltic but, above all, of means and measures for ensuring Poland’s maritime security in a broad sense. These are means necessary to protect the country, to protect critical energy infrastructure, ports and mooring fields, trade and transport routes. It has become clear how necessary it is for all the players guaranteeing national maritime security to work together.

The guests invited to discussions include representatives of the leading government bodies responsible for security and economic policy as well as the Polish Armed Forces, formations and institutions responsible for national maritime security, and trade experts and scientists specialising in these issues.

Topics of the panels of the Conference include:

• Variability of Threats to Poland’s National Security and the Dynamics of the Polish Naval Forces’ Development
• Poland’s Maritime Security from the Perspective of Experiences from the War in Ukraine
• The Defence Industry’s Contribution to Poland’s Maritime Security
